The Duesbury Modern Miniature House

The World of Miniatures is an interest that grows expedientially. It is good finding like minded people on the weird wild web. I am currently designing a Modern Miniature House called "The Duesbury" using a combination of Vectorworks, computer drafting, MDF material(now perhaps plywood) and CNC Routing. This house seems to take the same time as a full sized house like ones built on 'Grand Design'. I will display the progress of the new house soon.

THE SILVER SURFER

This room box I made for the Wattyl Paint Competition.
Everything in this creation is made by me
except for the V. Panton miniature chair and the plant from Elf Miniatures.
The roombox, the bed and bedclothes, the dresser, the lamp, the surfboard and the wall behind the bed were made by Studio SWS .
This miniature scene was inspiring to make and will serve to help me when decorating the Bodhi House

  2. Thanks Kathi and CM. I used mainly Huon Pine, the rare timber from Tasmania, excellent for carving and has a beautiful scent. Drawer fronts are from fluro diffusers and the lamp is made using fish bones and acrylic.
